Tournament Week 2025 | Everything you need to know
Important notes for tournament week:
- Coaches will be able to call up younger players for the playoffs and tournament. They can call up players up to a maximum of two subs. Call ups need to be approved by the younger team’s coach and call-up players cannot miss their scheduled games to be played up.
- All games must begin on time, we have a full schedule this week. Please double check your schedules for the correct time, field and team.
- Only U7 coaches can continue to be on the field at the tournament. U9 coaches cannot be on the fields and will need to coach from the sidelines, this includes shootouts.
- Shootouts – please read rules on side menu.
- At least one female and one male has to be on the field at all times in all age groups.
- Length of games by division:
- U7 - 20 minute halves
- U9 - 25 minute halves
- U11 and U13 - 30 minute halves
- U15 - 35 minute halves
- U18 - 45 minutes halves.
- Substitutions for all players can be made at any time at the referee’s discretion.
- Any player receiving a red card in a tournament game will not be allowed on the field in the next game their team plays.
- Coaches and all their players, please report to the score table inside the tent immediately after playing your last game to receive your medals or consolation tokens.
- Disputes are to be posted to the executive at the scorekeepers' table immediately following the game (CKSA info Booth). No rule changes will be made during the tournament. Complaints must be submitted in writing with relevant names.
- The CKSA Info Booth is the main station for all information at tournament. CKSA board members will be at this table all day. Get your game updates, reffing information and medals and tokens at this booth. All Coaches and Refs please check in at this table.
- Coaches: make sure your players are all rosted with jersey numbers in TeamSnap. Your games will be delayed if the jersey numbers are not listed.
- Please make sure all players are wearing jerseys, shin pads under socks, proper closed footwear, and not wearing hats or sunglasses at tournament games or they will be prohibited from playing.
- Any coach/team not following these rules will forfeit the game in which the infraction occurs and not be permitted to play any other game in the tournament.
